We had a fabulous stay at a lovely holiday home with stunning views. The location was perfect for bird watching and exploring nearby Wells, Glastonbury, and Street. The welcome tray, complete with a delicious lemon drizzle cake, was a delightful touch. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the kitchen was excellent and well-equipped, including a Nespresso coffee machine. Despite the birds providing a pleasant soundtrack, the place was incredibly quiet. We couldn't fully take advantage of the great views due to the weather, but they were still impressive. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area, providing helpful suggestions for things to do. The balcony doors opening over the river created a truly picturesque experience. The house was spacious, beautiful, and had all the amenities we needed for a self-catering holiday.
. The bedroom bedsheet had small hairs on it, so we had to use our own sheet for comfort.

The decking and patio area provided a perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. we had a peaceful and enjoyable stay at Brue View @ River House.
One minor drawback was the limited kitchen equipment, as there weren't enough crockery and cutlery provided. Additionally, the bedsheet in the bedroom had some small hairs on it, which was a bit disappointing.

The location of this hotel is absolutely gorgeous, right on the river at Meare. the stunning view over the countryside is a definite highlight. Guests have mentioned the efficient access to nearby Glastonbury and surrounding areas. the kitchen is high spec with wonderful attention to detail, and guests have been gifted with delicious fresh cake, bread, homemade jam, and a pint of milk upon arrival. the bed is described as the most comfortable mattress ever slept on, and the living room is supremely comfy. the hosts are super welcoming and accommodating.
It would be useful to have a map to navigate the route to the nearby pub, as guests have had difficulty finding it on foot due to high nettles and inquisitive cows in the fields.
